Memphis sergeant has troubled past, faces felony charges for lying to police The Commercial Appeal

What do you think of this guy? Should he be fired for his illicit activities? What do you think about his ability to get away with so much criminal endeavors for so many years? Should he have gotten away with this latest lie, even though his superiors were aware of his track record in deceit?

IMO, he should have been fired long ago. If I ever slapped and swore at a shackled inmate, I would be walked out on Administrative Leave, and eventually would be terminated. I don't think he "got away" with the stuff, because he was punished, but most of it was a slap on the hand compared to what should have happened.
As for the last question, I'm not sure what you are asking? It sounds like they did catch on pretty quickly, and are taking action.

Well if only he went to church more often, he would be a much better person.

I think he should have been fired when he kissed that woman. The stalking issue is sticky, but the clerk wasn't imagining things when he touched her.
And if he wasn't fired for that, he definitely should have been fired for slapping an inmate. That wasn't exactly self defense. I understand the urge, spit is real yucky. But you don't get to slap a restrained person for it.

He should have been fired either after the kissing incident, or at the latest the smacking incident. It seems as though the ball was dropped here...

That's just Memphis for you. It's a low grade slum. I have lived here my whole life. I have traveled to neighboring cities (Nashville, St Louis, Chattanooga, etc) and none of them are as horrible as Memphis. I welcome the day I can get away from this place. Everything is about race in Memphis. It comes from both sides and I don't think it will ever get better.

So do many other citizens of Memphis. Well, namely the deer. Such a typical attitude. Quit griping and get out, if you're not going to be an active part of the solution.

The deer are more than welcome to move to Georgia. They're just as yummy here as the ones I've eaten from Virginia, North Carolina, and Tennessee.

Ugghhh, so now people don't have the right to complain about something unless they are actively doing something about it? Yeah, makes total sense.

On bright side, it should reduce the amount of griping here by like 99% or so

That's interesting coming from somebody who refuses to vote.

Not particularly. No one is running under the anarchist ticket this election year.

I was only sharing in Gina's excitement for leaving Memphis forever. The sooner the better, two-faced!

I have a much better idea. You and your entire family go play deep in the woods then get lost because your camo blended in too well. Maybe some wild animals will find your guns and hunt you instead.
