If you do not like any of the candidates, do you vote for the "lesser of the two evils", write someone in, or skip voting altogether?

I vote for the candidate whose views are closest to mine. Not voting at all is just a vote for the other side.

I guess it's lesser of two evils. I try to always vote for the person who I agree with the most.

Usually one or the other, but I may write in this year, depending who gets the GOP nomination.

I usually vote for whoever has the most similar values to my own. I can't say I have ever 100% agreed with everything any candidate stands for.

I have my one or two issues I don't waver on then everything else is a grey area. I'm hopeful some one will crawl out of the woodwork soon that I am at least a little bit excited for. So far I'm contemplating putting my own name as a write in just so I don't have to pick from such a suck pool of candidates.

LOL! I totally missed it, but thought I had remembered from somewhere that you loved him. Wanna be jealous? Prior to us moving this summer, he lived in our neighborhood. We'd see him out and about from time to time. You could stalk him if you came to visit. My hubs snapped this at the grocery store a few months ago, he was totally just buying his own groceries, like a regular person, LOL:

I vote for the one I find has the most similar values to my own. This next election is SCARY. Nearly all the GOP candidates are idiots and scary idiots at that.

Lol cool pic. I don't love him. I just identify with what he wants for our government. It is getting to big and to involved in our lives and I am tired of being told what to do from what I eat to if I want to wear a seat belt or not.

I could see myself writing in Ron Paul's name as well. Or maybe Jaime's

I agree with a lot of what Ron Paul has to say but unfortunately his stance on abortion is polar opposite to my own. I'll have to see how the rest of the candidates align with my POV before I decide if I'm willing to waver and give him my vote.

See, I don't really agree with the abortion thing either, BUT I am much more concerned with our tanking economy and undeclared wars.

What if you don't agree with anything that particular candidate is all about? Would you still vote for the person who you think might get Obama out of office?

^ i would not. To me, most of the GOP candidates are a continuation of the same old Dubya/Bama policies. I would vote write in my vote before I voted for Obama or most of the GOP candidates.
