That is ridiculous. I half expected to find out that this was an Onion story someone picked up by accident. If my son's name was Gunner would they expect him to go by a nickname too? Can't be using the G word around kids. I went ahead and liked their FB page.

I think that is taking the no tolerance policy way too far and that is just absurd. I don't think it even looks like a gun to be honest. Is it the name Hunter that is suppose to look like it?

guess they're gonna cut off the hands of all the kids? Any kid can make a gun with their hands, and that goes against the policy.

Oversensitivity at it's best.

This falls under the category as almost as dumb as my son's teacher last year. They were using huge paper tubes and he put one on his shoulder and was facing her. She called me and said that she didn't know if he was trying to say he was going to shoot her with a gun or what he meant. Then she goes on to say "and we just had a burglary at a gas station near here!"... ok... so my 10 year old son did that too? I didn't even know what to say on the phone honestly.
