Even though this article says it's a UK record, I'm not sure anyone else could possibly beat this record and I don't think they would want to!

These two siblings are only 6 months apart (obviously the 2nd one was very premature)

Pregnancies that occur one right after the other carry an extremely high risk of prematurity. It's recommended that a person use BC for at least 6 months after vaginal birth and 12 months after c-section. This case is atypical. Hopefully the child doesn't have life long complications. Moms, should try to wait at least SIX WEEKS before sex if possible, so that this kind of thing doesn't occur causing issues for the resulting child. I am hoping that the child has no other issues than what she's already gone through.

I'm not one to make choices for others, but logically, at the very least, you should wait the 6 weeks after birth to give your body time to heal. I didn't want DH to even touch me until about 8 weeks, so I can't imagine being one of those people that DTD right after they are discharged from the hospital. My spacing is further apart than I'd like, but I think it's a personal decision for everyone.
