I just read that Gap, Gymboree, Walmart, Tommy Hilfiger, and lots of others have had problems. I can't find current info on any of them (as in newer than 2001)

How do we dress our kids without supporting sweatshops?

You can exclusively buy fair trade products, but that can get expensive. Another alternative is to buy as much as possible from thrift stores and consignment shops; the clothes may have been manufactured in sweat shops but because you would be buying the clothes secondhand you are reducing the need for new clothes to be manufactured in a sweatshop. Corporations will only manufacture what they can sell, so the more people who stop supporting them, the more likely they are to stop using sweatshop labor. They are business people; they WILL stop using sweatshop labor if their customers demand it.
