Little three year old Maddy Mccann was abucted from her parents hotel room in portugal while they ate dinner 50 yards away.

I made this in support of Maddy and her family:

Please add it to your siggy and show your support for this little girl and her family, all support, spoken and unspoken, is felt at this time.

Thanks girls x

No they put her to bed and walked 50 yards to eat dinner. Its like you putting your kid to bed then going to eat at the back of your yard. They were checking on her every 30 mins.

No its not someone on JM.

And a gentle reminder this is not a debate. This is offering support to those that need it.

Well it's great that you are offering support, I feel terrible for them. But you did post this on the debate board...
And it's not the same as eating in your backyard...I mean come on, it's a foreign country!

ETA: And I do feel truly bad for them. I just wondered what happened.

Not trying to debate but could I see an article of proof for this? I only ask because I get a spam email about once a week with something similar to this in it. Seriously, I'm not trying to be mean, but I just like to see proof when it comes to something like this.

Thank you for the link, that is terribly sad and I hope I never go through what those parents are going through. I will be praying for her safe return and for her family.

Very sad. I'm sure they are in a lot of pain, and I will pray for her safe return.

im so sorry for that little girl, but that seriously goes to show that in the blink of an eye something bad can happen. i know someone who left her toddler running around while giving the older kids a bath and the back door was open to the pool...he drowned, this was a mom on my board from my first ds....it hits close to home. never let them out of your site and especially not to go eat while they sleep in a hotel in portugal. one of the parents could have gone and picked up food and eaten in the hotel together. it's not a debate, but just observations, discussion of the news....

edited for typos.

That is terribly sad. I just don't understand why these parents would leave a 3 year old and 2 year old twins alone to go to a restaraunt. I am sorry, yes I feel horrible for this family, but that is neglectful, IMO.

I will pray for Maddie's safe return.
