Hi Ladies,

I thought I remembered reading somewhere that for those the were BBTing, keeping track of temps post-conception could indicate gender.

Has anyone else heard of this?

I think it was higher temps indicated girl and lower boy? What's considered "high" or "low" though?

I'd love more info/experiences about this if anyone knows. Very curious.

Thanks

The higher your progesterone the higher your temp. Im not sure what is classed as high or low. Women with high progesterone, tend to have girls. Women coming off the mini pill are also more likely to have girls. Drinking peppermint tea can make your progesterone levels higher. Be careful though b/c high progesterone can also make you more likely to get certain types of thrush.

Huh, interesting. So then your post-conception temps don't really give any clue to gender. Boo.

I dunno. Some women say that post O temps are also higher when youve conceived a girl. I dont know how reliable that is though.
