im certainly not looking for a quick fix, as i am not attempting to ttc a boy till sept, but just curious, are there any negative effects if youdo the boy diet, plus lemon water, plus bs douche, plus bs finger, plus using real eggwhite while ttc'ing. can your body/vagina be too alkaline to conceive (either boy OR girl)? or if you use ALL those things will it only help the cause?

I think the problem would be if you were ttc a girl and getting too acidic would definately kill sperm off. The negative effects of doing the boy diet is probably be putting on weight and maybe water retention from all the salt. Too much lemon water, especially if its too strong may hurt your stomach and cause an ulcer (im sure 2/3 glasses would be fine though). I would be extremely careful doing the bs finger, b/c it can burn especially if it touches your cervix, which is much lower when your ovulating. Also a douche may wash all the sperm away and also could wash your cm away so the sperm will find it difficult to swim. Douches also can cause thrush.Maybe a bath in bs or sea salt would be better than the douche or finger.
