DH & I are going for an elective 3D U/S Weds and I've been counting the days for weeks now! I'm soo... excited to find out who's in there!!
I enjoy guessing and I know some of you others do too, so here's my 'stats'.

DTD day before Ovulation (and a few days leading up to, we were TTC)
Heart BPM: 1st u/s at 8 wks was 170, midwife doppler at 11 & 15 wks - 160
Cravings: sweets, fruits, OJ,
Intelligender: Boy
Ring Test: Girl
Chinese Calender: Boy
Cabbage Test: Girl
M/S: not too bad. Nausea lasted longer than with DS, but I didn't have as many aversions this time. But I did pick up a LOT of flu/cold bugs which I never did with DS
Skin & Hair: Awful. Zits, dry, dull hair. On plus side, hair on my legs doesn't seem to be growing as fast?

Whaddya think??

UPDATE - had my ultrasound....went shopping afterwards and bought lots of cute baby clothes! Was so exciting to buy little socks and onesies......
oh yeah.......AND IT WAS ALL PINK AND PURPLE!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sooo...... beyond happy! I'm overjoyed and feeling so fortunate and blessed. I couldn't believe my ears when the tech said "IT'S A GIRL!". I felt like I was dreaming. Was so worth the $ to pay for the elective u/s.

Whoo-hoo!! I'm going to have a daughter!!! I'm already in love!!

I say girl but I'm really bad at predicting. Can't wait to find out what you're having. Congrats, Mama!

LOL - ME TOO!! It's still another 4 hrs from now...and we're driving 2hrs to get there (yes, I'm that impatient). But we're going to make an evening of it and do some shopping (pink or blue!!) afterwards and go for dinner. So it should be a great evening.

I'll update once I get home if it's not too late, or first thing tomorrow!! Eeekkk!!

LMAO Jen - thanks so very much for your heartfelt congrats.
I'm really over the moon happy today, but of course, I wake up and think "what if she was wrong?!". Ugh, whether we hear what we're hoping to hear or not, we still all doubt it. Why can't we just accept and be happy!!??
Anyway, I really felt it was a girl as it's just such a different pregnancy then with my ds, so I wasn't suprised when she said girl. On the otherhand, I was totally shocked because I was so scared to want something so badly and then not get it. I just kept saying to my Dh afterwards "I can't believe she said girl, I just can't believe it!" I absolutely ache for all the women that try so hard for a particular gender and then don't get it. I do believe we get the babies we're meant to get, but like so many mums have said, you're not mourning the child you get, but the one you won't. And that's a very difficult thing to accept.
I'm just walking around thinking 'how did I get so lucky?'.
Sending so much hope and pink baby dust to everyone out there hoping for their little girls.

I, like you, believe we get who we're supposed to get. Since I've been delving into swaying and it's become my obsession for the past few mos, my brain has been spinning and I started to helpless. In the past week or so, though, I've started to feel some peace now as I can only control certain things in the sway but ultimately, a 100% perfect sway could = an opposite. I'm just trying to be thankful of another baby (XX or XY) and when a negative thought crosses my brain, I just try to remind myself of that. I'm hoping I can stay in that place!

I know it's so tough to just relax...do what you can and enjoy the ride. It's pretty likely you're having a sweet girl. I'm so thrilled for you! =] YAYAYAYAY!
