oOn my 2nd cycle on trying to conceive a girl.

Last month i OV Day 17, this month on 15...according to FF when i chart my temps. I BD on day 13(kept a gap on 3 days in between for a girl LOL), but later realised i now ovulated on day 15..... :-O

If i dont get a BFP this month, is it possible to try OPK's for conceiving a girl? Unsure on how this would work tho :s

I do see how you could use OPK for TTC a girl. Because it will detect your surge, which should be 48-72 hours before you ovulate. Which if you just DTD that first time you detected your surge, you might be fine for a girl. Or if you did it every night up until you got your surge and then stop? But I do know that OPKs are not fool-proof and you could accidently miss your fertile window. Or the opposite, have the surge close to ovulation. I know that I ovulated 24 hours after getting my surge (and I was testing twice a day, so I know I caught it early). I ovulate anywhere from 16-75 hours after detecting my surge. but some women might not know when their body ovulates, so it could be hard to figure it all out. If you have had luck in the past with OPKs, I think you will be fine. Especially if you are really aware of your body, this could work for you.

For trying with a girl for sophie I had sex when opk were neg and not when opk pos, cos If you dont do it O day the girl sperm lasts longer.
