Do not want to use pre-seed this time as I have read it *can* sway a boy. We used it last time, and had a boy. So, what can I use? Is it best to use nothing? When we are not TTC we typically just use coconut oil

Does Evening Primrose sway either way? B6? prental?

Question two: I was looking over the list of the girl diet, I can do a lot of the chicken, rice, pasta, etc. but I do not drink tea, water, and I can only drink milk with sweets. I pretty much live off Coke and Powerade. I read that you should drink Propel water for a girl, would Powerade and/or Gatorade work in that same way or no?

Also, talk of testing PH...where do I buy a kit/strips for that?

What do I want my PH level to be at to sway girl? Do I test it daily prior to BD'ing to make sure it stays low?

So, to sway girl you should BD after you ovulate right? Most of the time I can physically feel when I ovulate (pain and tenderness on the right side) how long after that should we wait to BD? Should there be NO BD'ing up until that point or just stopping a few days before O?

Sorry for all the questions. My last baby, I would really love to give my daughter a sister to make up for her two destructive little brothers!!

I did, but on the part about diet I get a 'server error' message when I try to go to the Acidifying food or gender diet section.

Sylk is a good lube to use when TTC a girl.

Primrose oil sways boy as prenatal. B6 sways girl.

Coke lowers pH, but contains caffeine which would sway boy. Stick to drinks that contains sweeteners like crystal light etc.

pHion strips are best for testing pH. You can get them online. Also you can get a Hannah pH tester to get an even more accurate reading.

You test you pH everyday prior to BD and it should be in the 4's for TTC a girl.

As for timing you can do a cut-off or O+12. Use protection when you are not doing an attempt.

You use the pH strips to test your cervical mucus.

Cut-off means when you stop trying..so 5 day cut-off means cut off from sex 5 days before ovulation.

My question about the lube still stands. But I have another question now

I just received my pHion test strips in the mail. On the package it says "in Vitro use only" - what does that mean? Is it important?

Also it says it's for urine and saliva testing, but online people say to test the ph of the CM - what's the difference?

Lav-
in Vitro use only-just means for testing outside the body, not inside.

nice! congratulations! I tried to go by that too. BDed 3 days prior and 1 day prior. The problem was I didn't know when I would ovulate. I had ordered OPKs but they didn't arrive until after I ovulated according to my BBT.

What do you think, do I have a shot at a girl if I conceived this cycle with having BDed 3 days prior but also 1 day prior to O?
