Hi Ladies! I was not TTC a Specific Gender, but thought I would post here for opinions. (The in-gender website does not want to work for me!), but anyways, I had some severe bleeding this weekend & had an U/S at the ER & the tech. was super nice & said she would take a look for gender. She said she thought she saw a "little pee-pee"(her words), but wasn't certain & said it is probably too early to be sure. I am 13 weeks today, but I was 12 weeks & 5 days for this U/S. Anyways, the picture looks ALL boy to me, what do you all think?

I can't really tell...did she give you a "potty" shot? Not sure what other's opinions would be, but I feel like that could still just be a nub shot (and the baby isn't the right position to guess the nub) or even the umbilical cord.

I hope your bleeding has stopped (I went through that with all three of mine) and you have a restful last parts of pregnancy. What a cute ultrasound pic, btw!

I also say the pic is not a great shot for telling gender. It really could be the cord there.

That said, I found out with my first son at 13 weeks. I got a perfect potty-shot and it was fairly obvious he was a he. So I don't think 12 weeks, 5 days is "too" early for a guess. Although i would not paint the nursery yet. I think boy guesses are a little more accurate than girl ones at that stage. The tech also got lots of shots that were not printed out, so if she is any good (or has been working as a tech for a long time), I would be inclined to think she saw what she said.

I would say that if tech said boy then prob is. When i had my 13 week 3 day scan i knew Alex was a boy it was really obvious! She probably didnt want to say 100% because so early, but looks like a boy to me.
