You never know though! at 11 weeks my babies hb was in the 160's and ended up being a boy!!! I really hope your sister gets what she wants.. sending her lots of pink dust

I would say boy but then again... Could be a girl.. My son was always 150's... The first time they got my DD2 heart beat at 12 weeks she was 150.. And has dropped to 146 then last OB went back up to 150. My DD 1 was very high in the 170s the whole time..

The wives tale says anything over 150 is a girl but anything under is a boy. I'm due in May and a lot of the ladies in my group that have found out haven't found this wives tale to be true but you've got a 50/50 shot and it's fun to guess.

Well, the wives' tale says high heart rate equals girl (and that really worried me because I really wanted a boy, and baby's hr was always on the high side), but I'm 24 weeks with a boy (YAY) and his hr has always been on the high side.

My baby boy has had a heart rate of 160. In my DDC the heart rates have been all over the map and have not really been correct as far as predicting sex.
I hope she gets her girl!
