We had an "oops"...what are my chances?

*sigh* Long story short Dh and I had an oops last night, and I am stressed out at the possibility of getting pregnant without having gotten the chance to sway for a boy. I am pretty much resigned to the fact that if I do end up PG from this it will be a girl. Hoping I am NOT because we want to sway and also were hoping for like 6 months-a year from now, not now. LOL.

Anyway...

DTD last night, withdrawal method.... but I think I am Oing today or tomorrow...I got what i THINK is a positive OPK this afternoon but they are always so hard to read...so that would sway girl, right...if it occured a day or 2 before ovulation?

My PH is way low, I have been trying to get it up but it always reads like 4 or 5.

Checked it today and it was 5.

Thoughts? ANYONE ever still have a boy with a low PH and dtd before O? lol.

Hopefully I'm not getting a BFP for Christmas and we can actually DO a sway next year!! lol

Hi there. If you want to sway for a girl, you need to time DTD for 3 or more days prior to DTD...

If you are swaying for a boy, then you DTD 2 days before, 1 day before and day of ovulation... so I think you've timed it pretty right for a boy!

Oh wow you made me feel so much better, thanks! For some reason I thought for a boy it was only DTD ON ovulation day and day or 2 before was girl. OK, well now I would still be pretty freaked if I turn up pregnant, but not AS freaked, lol. Maybe we would still have a shot at a boy.

Any thoughts on the PH situation?

Sorry, not too sure on the PH stuff... timing has always been the thing that has worked for me (first pregnancy was girl (DTD 4 days prior to o, but we lost baby. Second pregnancy - boy (DTD 2 and 1 day prior and on o day). This time we are going for girl again, so will see what happens!).

OK thanks. Just took another OPK and it is still really positive, so I am a little nervous, that now puts me at a full 2, maybe even 3ish days before O.... *sigh*
