Hi! I'm Nicole and DH and I are going to start actively TTC when our midwife gives us the ok since we just experienced a loss. We have 4 little ones, 2 of each. The oldest 2 are boys and from a previous relationship so DH really wants a baby boy.

I've been reading on this board about swaying for a boy and it is quite overwhelming! How many of you ladies have successfully swayed?? Am I going to need to start changing my eating and drinking habits now? And do I really need to give up on my diet soda addiction?! Lol thanks for the insight!

Diet drinks do sway pink as they change your PH to a more favorable environment for the boy swimmers.

after 2 boys I was ready for a girl, so for the entire nearly 3 years we ttc'ed I did a girl diet.

my 3rd son was born in september.

I think swaying is over rated

We didn't sway. I had sex every day in my fertile window, and again on O day with Preseed. We have a beautiful baby boy!

I never changed my diet with any of my kids.

With both boys we DTD on ovulation day (hours after I ovulated)

With this baby we tried to avoid DTD during my ovulation time since we were not TTC...I got pg anyway and baby is a girl (a wonderful surprise baby!!).

So, the timing of DTD rings true for me.

My husband has a family that is literally 90% male, and we already had a girl. I really believe we'd have another boy (we have 2) if we didn't sway. We swayed girl and have another girl on the way. Everyone in the family is shocked. It is unheard of in their family to have more than one girl. You could have 8 kids and only get one girl in your generation. So I think swaying works, but remember it's not 100%
