We were blessed with a perfect beautiful healthy baby boy October 2012! I would love to have another boy in the future but just in case we only have 2 children, I definitely want a lil princess next !! I downloaded the 'baby girl cook book by Tamara'. I was wondering if there is any other tips I could get for swaying pink?? Anything at all, even old wives tales!
Thanksss!

I'm not a bug ingender fan. Have you checked out genderdreaming.com? It is actively managed and has a TON of info! Since I've had both girls and boys, what I've read from the GD site was dead on with diet and lifestyle when I conceived my girls and my boys. Switching back to a girl friendly lifestyle and diet was a bit hard but if I got my girl, it'll be so worth it!!

Timing worked for me. We dtd several days before ovulation and not again. This baby was not planned so I wasn't on a diet. I was running a lot and getting into shape though.

^^ I think your running would have a lot more to do with it then the timing.

Timing worked for me. I'm not sure about first son but others were conceived day before or day of ovulation. My last son was trying to do girl timing but didn't get pregnant so dtd day of ovulation and yep another boy. That was 4 boys. Then for my girl we were planning on trying a few months later but had an oopsie 4/5 days before ovulation. Got a girl. I had got a lot of info from ingender too. Was taking calcium citrate. After dtd I took cranberry every day, as well as sudafed, magnesium after our 'accident' just in case I got pregnant. Good luck with your sway.

Hi, I am new to this site and would really love to have a little girl. I have three wonderful boys, and we would like to have one more. W would really love a girl. I am wondering if anyone has any ideas on ways to increase my chances of conceiving a girl? I have heard of this girl diet, what is it? And does it work? Are there any other things out there that people have tried and that work? I have also heard of a douching method before or after, I don't remember. Does that work? If anyone has any ideas or things they have done in the past please let me know. I will try anything.

Thank you, and I hope I can conceive a little girl, my boys want a little sister as well.

The girl diet is pretty much reducing sodium and potassium and increasing calcium and magnesium. Also lowering your blood sugar so missing breakfast and no snacking. Reducing the calories you eat. From what I can remember here are some foods
Cucumber, chicken breast, white rice and calcium fortified pasta, soy, berries like strawberries and cranberries. Replace sugar with aspartame. Drink crystal lite, diet soda, Evian mineral water, peppermint tea
People say no caffeine but all my friends with girls drink loads of coffee. And some people recommend drinking diet cola for girl diet.
Take cranberry, sudafed, calcium citrate.
No red meat, potatoes or bananas.
