So I was working in Motherhood maternity when I was preggo 31/2 years ago and It seemed like everyone was having boys... well a lady told me that "supossedly" during a time of war more boys are born, it is god's way of replenishing the earth. Now I know that we have women in our armed forces but the majority of them are men. weird b/c I did the shettles meathod and got a boy and I did everything accoriding to the book so I wonder if it is just god's will and what the earth needs?(sorry if I seam totally weird i just think too much...it is soooo boring at work LOL)
Hey you never know! Alot of the old wives tales sound crazy but that one actually doesn't so it makes me think. Especially because in my October DDC the majority of us are having boys and we think it's strange. Right now we are at 75% boys! And of course you're not weird at all!
I think its hard to tell. It may be true though. I"ve always heard that if you have two children of the same sex then your third child will MOST likely be the same sex as well. Which ended up working out in mycase. My husband has 2 older boys, and then when I got pregnant I knew it was a boy (even though my family ended up convincing me it was a girl), Turned out Eamon was a boy lol.
Not so sure. I have noticed with me that when I am Preggo every one of my close friends who get preggo during my 9 mths have the same sex as me. I mean when I was working me and 4 other women in the same office all had girls. They were our first kids and they were all born within a month of eachother. THen with DD #2, the same thing happend. WIth my boy, I became close friends with several women on a buddy group. I got PG second, the one who got PG first had a m/c but was certain it was a boy. There were a total of 11 of us and we all ended up having boys. One even had twin boys. It seems crazy to me but that is what happend.
