Do you have a prescription for your child's eczema and, if so, what is it?

Our doc used to give us petrol based hydrocotrisone but this time he gave us an rx for Emo-cort and it is lotion based.

My son has been prescribed Desonide (lotion for head and ointment for face), Acclovate, Triamcinolone and Fluticasone..

Fluticasone and Acclovate seem to work best.. I use these vary sparingly..

We have right now Momasatone (sp?) which is stronger than Triamcinalone and Hydrocortisone 2%, which doesn't really do anything. We also sometimes get Derma Smooth which is an oil that we use after baths in conjunction with the other creams.

I found that over time each cream stops working, so we have to go with something stronger, unfortunately.
