Hey y'all,

I am a momma of 2 girls, one having severe eczema. We have been to National Jewish Hospital TWICE for their 2 week Pediatric day program for kids who suffer from allergies, asthma and eczema. She has ALL 3 of those. Anyway she is 5 now and the Eczema has gotten better but I think that is due to her understanding that scratching makes it worse. I feel I have a plethora of advice and information to give out so please if you have any questions regurading what we do to help keep her eczema at bay please ask!!!!

Hi there. I'm Melissa. My son has the Allergic Triad (Eczema, Asthma, Allergies, Hayfever) also. Severe eczema (the weaping, clear/yellow fluid) at 3 months old, diagnosed with Asthma at 8 months old (symptoms started at 4 months old), Hayfever at 18 months old. He also has several food allergies.. It's good to know I'm not alone in all of this..

We are fortunate that we know my son's allergy triggers and he only gets eczema break outs when it's really cold outside. He is 2 1/2 years old and I don't have to use anything special.. It's such a relief considering the hoops I had to jump through for his first year.. I just need to keep him away from his triggers..

Oh man I feel ya about the weeping eczema....Landree has had MRSA twice because of her eczema always being infected. We have had hospital stays with her in quarentine. I feel for you. She has been on fluticisone ointment for a good while now and that tends to help out tons, although I am not a fan of her being on steriods all the time. She has the food allergies too...egg, peanuts and treenuts. You certainly are NOT alone

We have the 3 here too. I have suspected food allergies for a long time but couldn't get a referral from our ped. We recently got a new ped, who took one look at my baby and gave us the refferal. So, we go to an allergist in 2 days. Hopefully will get some answers.
