I'm Rachel, mom to Daniel. Daniel has flare-ups of Eczema on his ankles mostly, but lately it's gotten really bad and is covering most of his limbs and torso. I took him to the doc this evening because I noticed a bump on his neck which turned out to be swollen lymph nodes. We've been doing hydrocortisone but the doctor has changed it to a compound of hydrocortisone and acid mantle. I'm hoping this helps. He's also having him tested for allergies, but I'm not so sure that they will find any.

I should add that I have eczema as well and have had it as well as super dry skin all of my life.

Oh and I think I'll get some pics of his eczema tomorrow and post them.

Heya! Welcome to SD Rachel! I'm sorry about Daniel having a bad flare-up. I hope the new meds help.

I'm Michele. Mom to Malachi 8, Trinity 3, and Anastasiya 8 months. Both Trinity and Tasiya have Epidermolysis Bullosa Simplex: Weber-cockayne. They get blisters on their hands and feet real easily.
