The doctor left me a message yesterday to say that Daniel shows a reaction to nuts and cats. We have two cats! I'm sick just thinking that his skin issues could be related to the cats and I have made him sick and itchy by having cats. I'm not terribly attached to the cats so I'm not upset at the possibility of having to get rid of them. I've lived with cats too most of my life with the exception of a few years here or there, I've always had a cat. I just can't believe he's allergic to cats!

Heck, I'm not attached to the cats. If they're making him sick, they're out of here. I'm sorry if anyone is a pet lover, but if it's a choice between medicating him daily or the cats, the cats lose.

We're going to try to see about keeping them out of his room and out of the living room and see how that goes for a few weeks. If we're not noticing any improvement, then we'll look into finding good homes for the furbabies.
