Hi Everyone!!! I am Amy with DD Sydnee. Personally I have dealt with psoriasis since I was 4....almost 28 years!!! Geesh...seems like a long time. I have tried just about everything out there, prescriptions from dr's, OTC ointments and creams, etc. The best thing that Ihave found that works for me is Virgin Coconut Oil. Get it online or at a health food store. It is actually used for cooking, but works great on your skin too.
My DD Sydnee has eczema. I started using Aquaphor on her after her baths every night and it has really helped. She still has her rough spots, but they are dramatically improved.
I know this board is for Children, but will stick around and hopefully I can help in some way!!!

Welcome!!! I've found that chamomile(sp) oil works well for keeping skin hydrated, as well as emu oil. You should give them a try! There's a brand called Blue Emu that you can buy at Walgreens...the chamomile oil I get from a Russian store in NJ, so that probably wouldn't help you lol
