celebrate anything cultural? I hope that makes sense. My aunt buys the kids polish foods and does some sort of tradition with them at Christmas. I am not particularly ethnic - LOL - polish/irish. I find celebrations fascinating though.

My son is learning about India (his choice). I think I am going to take the kids out for Indian food this week.

We're typical American "mutts" as we've always called it. We've got a little bit of pretty much every culture in our bloodline. There's not one that stands out, so no, we don't traditionally do anything. We've always learned about world cultures, though. I think they're interesting. Ben will be doing a touch of that in social studies this year (we have a unit coming up about children around the world ... very cheesy, but we can build on it if it interests him).

We are (through DH) 1/2 Puerto Rican. We sing "Feliz en tu Dia" after Happy Birthday for b-days, and we celebrate Three Kings Day on Epiphany and give a gift to the kids. We eat traditional foods on holidays. That's all that's really cultural that we do. Also listen to salsa and play instruments. Hugo is really into that!
