Apparently, there was an earthquake on the east coast today. Anyone feel it? Everyone in my neighborhood felt it, as well as friends....but we didn't. Kids are kind of bummed they missed it. We were in the library ~ and never felt anything.

Anyone feel the earthquake???

Nope, but you're welcome to send that hurricane to TX. We need it. It was so dry here that the tropical storm fizzled out and died when it reached the shore.

Now we have a hurricane heading this way too. Hurricane Irene is supposed to hit Florida and head up the coast and cause HEAVY rain and flooding for our weekend. Oh joy. I have a feeling that the grocery stores will be very crowded. First and earthquake and then a hurricane. I am going to move to TX with Chrystal.

Bring your own water. It's rationed around here. My grass died a long time ago, but they won't let us water it more than 30 minutes a week. They also won't let us wash cars or anything like that.

We most definitely felt it. There's a lot of damage around here (DC Metro) actually. It was very scary.
