My twins were tested on Thursday by a second teacher for their comprehension. I emailed the teacher on Friday to find out the results and called today. No return call yet. I am so frustrated. I know I need to be patient, but I want to get these kids learning! Thanks for letting me vent.
Were they tested by a teacher or the school psych?
I work in the public school system and I know it's hard for teachers to find time to read and respond to e-mail. I don't think it's personal, it's just a sheer time factor. You could try and call if you don't get a response, or perhaps write a note to send in their homework folder. Usually when the teachers get a note or call they respond during planning/specials time or after school, at least where I work, where e-mail may get lost for a week. Depends on the teacher. Hope that helps some... you could always call tomorrow after school if you don't get a note or offer to set up a time to come in and see the results.
