The marking period ended on Friday. Looking online, I see that Erin will end up with all A's again. Not that I expected anything different.

The one that surprises me is my oldest daughter. She has two actual college classes, two AP classes and the rest are honors. In her E110 (College English) she has an A and the highest average in the class. In her Sociology class (through the university too) she also has an A. She has an A in calculus too. In her AP Environmental Science she has a B but her average is a 90.75. (A 93 is an A) She has a 91 in AP Psychology and I think her lowest average is an 89. These are the best grades she has ever gotten. She generally will blow off homework and end up with a zero here and there. I am proud of her!!! She has been working her tail off. I guess it took until SENIOR year to get herself in gear. She's never had bad grades, she just never really tries very hard. I think she will end up with all A's and a few B's but they are so close to As! Very proud of her!!!

Good job Kelsey!

Our marking period ends Monday so we won't be getting report cards for a couple of weeks (they are sooooo slow)

Good job to both of your girls!!

Beth and Matt get their first report cards on Thursday. They don't do letter grades in the early years here though, and I find the marks they give instead confusing. I think they're both doing well in any case.

I totally agree with you on the confusing. Those grades always lead me to think "what does that mean" & "where is my kid as compared to the rest of the class"

We get our report cards Thanksgiving week. This will be the 1st year that Lucy gets letter grades. I think she will do well but her vision problems are causing issues again so that masks her true ability. But she starts vision therapy again in January & I'm working on a 504 plan for her so she can get more consistent grades.
