Did you go shopping on black Friday??

I swore I wasn't going to. I really did. Then, I saw in the Toys R Us ad that the leapster I wanted to get my niece for Christmas was 50% off!! It was on sale for 24.99! I actually was one of those crazy people who stood in line for 2.5 hours just to get in the store! It was worth it though, they only had ten left when I got there . Good thing my niece is so cute.

We went around 2:30 or so (pm). Stores were no worse than a typical Saturday morning. There were no sales that interested me to entice me any earlier. Most of the sales I saw were no better than typical sales.

This is what happened to us. Well, what we were doing was actually going to Walmart to get groceries for a dish that FIL wanted to cook and I went by the toy sections to see what they had. It was in the afternoon too and no worse than any other day at the store and there were no deals to be had. EXCEPT they had the cheap brand giant walking doll on sale for $2.50 because the boxes somehow got destroyed. I got one for the angel tree child.

When we got those groceries home we took the kids to see the Muppets.

We had actually planned to go out because MIL loves to, but there was a shooting at their mall during the early hours! Needless to say we did not go there.

I also didn't plan on going, but we ended up going to a 4 a.m. sale to get luggage. LOL!! Ben really needed/wanted some, and it was a great price.

I have seen so much Lego stuff and thought about Ben. If I had a ton of $$$ I would so be buying it and sending it to him. I bet you are glad I don't, ha. Barnes and Noble had a Lego alarm clock, plus a bunch more cool stuff in that section.
