Welcome to JM! Tell us a little about your gifted child(ren) and yourself. We'd love to get to know you! I'm Chrystal from Texas. My boys are Ben (age 6, 3rd grade) and Daniel (age 3, kindergarten). We're homeschooling because the PS here said they weren't willing to work with us, and the private gifted school is too expensive. We only go there for summer camps.
Welcome! I'm Kris from Chicago. I'm mom to Lucy & Noah. Lucy is most likely gifted but it doesn't show up in school because she has vision issues. She's very artistic & is excelling in dance & gymnastics. Not sure about Noah academically yet as he's just in Kindy but he's a gifted athlete naturally. His daddy is a chef & artist & I'm a computer/accounting geek. Neither of us even watch sports let alone play them. But somehow we birthed a geek!
I am Amanda from NC. Hugo (3, turning 4 in April) is highly gifted... have not yet had him formally tested due to his age, but he functions as a bright 6-year-old. He is also highly musical. Sergio (2) is very athletically inclined and following his brother's footsteps. Although it's been at a noticeably slower pace than his brother, he is definitely ahead of his peers across the board and has unique interests (nature, art, sports).
