Some studies have shown that gifted kids have more allergies than the general population. How many here have allergies, and what are they... seasonal, food, etc?

No correlation in our family and that's actually surprising. Jamie and I both have seasonal allergies. Jamie's are worse than mine. Ani has mild seasonal allergies. Cameron and Adrian have no allergies at all. No, wait. Adrian is allergic to oranges. Fritz is allergic to a whole slew of things. All pollens, dust, molds, etc.

Ben was allergic to strawberries when he was little, but he's outgrown it. Daniel's allergic to something, but we don't know what it is yet. The doc has him on a no-milk trial right now. We'll do eggs next, and then go back to the allergist (3rd time) for more testing. His skin breaks out so badly it bleeds, and band-aids only make it worse. I can't keep his skin clear, and he's constantly coughing.

My son had alot of problems going out when it was windy out because of all the dust but after we started giving him local honey he hasn't had any problems. My daughter doesn't have any allergies.
My 3 year old(not sure if he's gifted) is allergic to latex and not sure what else but we tried latex free bandaids and he got a severe rash to that as well.
My baby (already showing signs of giftedness) not sure if you'd say allergic but is in cloth diapers and had to use cloth wipes because she had such bad rashes. We also have to use a certain soap to wash her clothes and people with perfume or cologne can't touch her skin to wear it is either.

Wow - we are boring. No allergies here at all. Well, Andrew gets seasonal allergies in the spring here, but other than that - nothing.
