Hi there! I have four G&T kiddos with one that probably is but her dyslexia is getting in the way of knowing for sure (we're in the process of finding out though).
The oldest is grown and out of the house.
The next one is a junior in high school, followed by an 8th grader and 6th grader.
It's been an interesting ride with this whole gamut of learning abilities from learning disabled, to average, to gifted.
Mama to a few:
L (5-21-88); Mi (dn, 8-29-91); A (10-27-91); I (10-2-92); Ma (dd, 4-17-94);
N (10-29-95); S (10-13-98); Le (10-28-00); C (3-7-03)
I'm Chrystal, mom to two gifted boys. We're a homeschooling family, and we use a combination of classical model schooling and radical acceleration. My oldest is 2E, with Asperger's, motor delays, ADD, vision/hearing delays, and what I call "undiagnosed anxiety disorder". He's an interesting character, but of the two, he's the most like me, so I relate well to him and enjoy teaching him. My younger is fireball of energy, creativity, and mischief. He drives me nuts, but I love him all the same. I've really enjoyed teaching at the elementary level. My background was teaching high school, but I've found that I like preschool & elementary just as well!
