We're starting back on Monday! I can't wait. Daniel can't wait. Ben's not so enthusiastic about school in general, but he can't wait to start American History, so at least that's something.

I hadn't planned on starting back for another couple of weeks but yet again Allison had other plans We have been doing some schooling over the summer, just to make sure she's fully prepared for first grade with an actual curriculum. It was planned out to take 10 weeks, she did it in 8 (and still only spent 20-30 minutes a day)! I had been planning out next year so we're starting Monday too.

Daniel has so much in common w/ Hugo. He doesn't start public school til end of August, but has been doing a lot of home study of American wars, NC history and native Americans. He's a history buff also.

We're just continuing on with a lot of reading, model-building, writing, etc. at home until school starts, though Hugo attends a performing arts camp this week.

Have fun, homeschoolers!!

We started July 15th and go until November. Then take part of November, all of December and part of January off since the weather here is unbearable in the summer.
