I'll post my reaction and what I did after I see what other people think.
Sam attends public school for his services (11 sped boys in a class with one teacher, one aide). He's 3 and not yet PT'd. We drop him off each morning, then he rides a bus to the babysitter's house.
On Wednesdays, they get out one hour early. So, they don't take a rest time, just play on the playground after lunch, then get ready to go. They get out at 1:45 and he arrives at the sitter's at 2:25. 40 minutes.
This week, I got a call from the sitter as soon as he was dropped off. Apparently, the teacher's aide had knowingly placed my son on the bus with a poopy diaper on. He sat in his own filth for 40 minutes until the bus driver dropped him off to the sitter.
I would of filed a complaint with head of school about "care givers" actions and then speak to care giver as well on how this is not acceptable that a diaper or pull up change would be quick and easy bus driver would understand, sorry I guess I would of snapped if it was me, but you know we are our childrens protectors!! I hope you gave them a piece of your mind cant wait to find out!!! hope all is well now!!!
