I am serioulsy thinking of getting my son tested, I've always been one of those parents who thought their child was just super active and all body, but lately, after reading up on ADHD, I've realized my son has ALL the symptoms.. I know there are several options that you can try W/O medication, but I'd also like to know exactly how to go about getting him tested, just to make sure if this is it, or if in fact, it is just him being a normal, exessively hyperactive child.

Do pediatricians test for this? Or Does it have to be done elsewhere? Also, is anyone using Omega 3 fish oils to help with this if its in your family at all.

Thanks so much!

Some pediatricians don't test until your child is 5 years old, so if your child is not 5 yet you might wanna go somewhere else. My son was diagnosed...he's 3 and I took him to a pediatric neurologyst. I tried both the natural way as well as medication...all kids are different though. Good luck I know it can be frustrating.
