What are you most frustrated with this week?

My dd finally knows the ABC song but she always sings it HIKJ... instead of HIJK and it is driving me crazy. We have been working on this for a while and I can't quite get her to sing it right.

My 18 yo dyslexic son is getting ready to leave for college. It seems like I'm the one who is doing all the work, though. I have to call the financial aid office. I have to call the place where he's going to rent an apartment. Shouldn't he be able to do some of this himself!

I know you aren't supposed to compare your kids, and it really isn't fair to compare him to his older sister who is definitely an overacheiver, but I can't help but remember that when she was getting ready to go to college, she did ALL of it herself!

We've tried really hard to raise him to be independent, and in most ways I guess he is. But this is driving me CRAZY!!!!!

Have you ever tried supplementing her diet with extra Omega 3? I haven't used this for my son, but I have a very good friend (who is also a teacher) and it has made a huge difference in her son. PM me if you want more info.

I think maybe this is a boy thing. LOL. My dh is the same way about me doing things for him that he should be able to do himself. LOL How exciting that he is going to college!!
