Do you have parent-teacher conferences? Alexis has her first one tonight. It was a mandatory thing. I remember when I was i school, only the parents of kids who were bad had to have parernt teacher conferences. Now, it seems that every parent has to go. I do think its a good way to try and keep the parents involved though.
I will update tomorrow and let you know how it goes.

We don't have them for Abby because we have frequent meetings. Also, the teacher and I have a communications notebook that goes back and forth every day so I'm always up on what goes on.
For my other two that are in school, we do the parent/teacher conferences twice a year which seems odd because I'm so used to way more than two a year with Abby. I like the parent/teacher conferences because it makes me feel involved and I don't feel that I am as involved with them as much as I am with A.

We had our first this week. We usually just have the IEP meetings, but this year Nathan's ESE teacher asked us to come in (oh, she gave us the invitation on Monday, to come on Tuesday). It was nice to see the class and how she interacts with Nathan (she's new and this was our first chance to meet her). Not much information, was given, guess they are waiting for the next IEP meeting
