Well our appointment went pretty well. We have a game plan to teach Alexis how to chew. Its going to be really rough, but its the only way. She hasn't learned to chew on her own even after getting up to ground and chopped table food (chewing is usually a passive skill not required to be taught), so we are going to have to teach her. Sounds simple enough right? Nope.
We'll call in January with a progress report, and if we haven't made a lot of progress, than we are going to get the paperwork going on getting her into their intensive 4 week day treatment program for July or August (the only time we'll be able to do it). So keep your fingers crossed and wish us luck.
