Don't know if I reconize anyone here yet, so I'll introduce myself. My name is Erin, and I'm Momma to 3 Princes. Sebastien, our 7 year old gifted I swear he's going to be a lawyer, My 8 year old PDD-NOS ASD, and my youngest, James... 8.5 months.

Tyler was dx'd when he was four. He is high functioning, and has been mainstream since kindergarten. He does have issues with comprehension, expressive language, he is not capable of sounding out words, and when he says hi to someone new he says "My name is Tyler, T-Y-L-E-R Tyler" and frankly I think it's adorable.

Tyler was in therapy from 4 years old until his 6th birthday, and though we had a head therapist on paper, I was the head of his therapy, trained our behavioral interventionists, and essentially manned the whole kit and kaboodle.

Tyler has a helper at school, but is still one of the most liked kids in his class He is kind and outgoing, though at times when he has a fit because he doesn't have a full grasp of game rules, or why we have to do stuff sometimes that we don't want to do, it can have it's moments! Despite these few bumps, Tyler is Tyler, and to be quite honest I would love to just have 5 minutes in his shoes

She was diagnosed with the VI at 4 months and the autism and MR just tjhis past September, though we were at least expecteing the autism.
