I hardly ever complain about my son, but lately he's hardly been sleeping at all. He'll take an hour nap, sometimes no nap at all, and he sleeps really poorly at night. Tonight, he woke up three times and I had to sit with him for awhile to get him back to sleep. When he woke up for the morning, he interrupted a really good dream I was having and then started whining that I wouldn't nurse him. He's weaned. So I take him out into the kitchen with me to get him a sippy cup of water. We were only out there for about a minute and he was still whining, and DF comes out and starts getting all pissy about how he's supposed to get sleep or whatever. Yes, I know he needs sleep, but he was acting like I had just put Jamie down in his playpen and walked away to do something else while he screamed, which I didn't. Then I took him into the bedroom so DF could get some sleep and he walks in complaining again saying, "Why aren't you paying any attention to him? You need to get him something to drink." I point to the sippy cup on the floor, and he says, "That doesn't count." Arrrgh, ***?! Then he storms out later railing about how he was planning to have a good day today but I ruined it because he didn't get enough sleep. Umm...what about me? I've been getting s*itty sleep for the past month and a half. Yes, I sometimes say something about it, but then he accuses me of complaining, so I stopped. I think he just wanted to be mad at this point. I don't know what else to do, to be honest, so I'm not going to talk to him until he comes out here and tries to talk to me about it. The stupid thing is I didn't even try to wake him up or anything. I tried to get J to shut up so he *could* get sleep. The stupidity! It burns!
