Or lets say a somewhat a heated discussion. Well at work holidays got brought up. This coworker Mary says Easter should be a paid holiday. I said it is not. Because it always lands on Sunday. The people who only work Mon- Fri would get a free paid holiday. Or that is how they explained it to me. It sort of don't make sense. Well These Mon - Fri workers have to still do every other holiday. So what if it turns out to be Christmas is on a Saturday. Well they don't come in if they're office help. We got some in the front offices marketing people etc. I never seen the director of housing in on a holiday as long as I been there. So I said well that Easter and M-F workers thing must only be for housekeeping, food service and nursing staff including the CNA's. Those are the only depts who have staff who actually come in on holidays. It's not fair. But nothing I can do about that alone. Not unless we went as a group together to complain to upper management.
