my father was driving me and my three month old home. she spit up so i was cleaning her up and he got mad because i didn't take her out of the carseat while he was driving on the highway at 70 mph. she wasn't choking, she was fine. and he goes "a kid raising a kid". really? a kid? try an adult. i'm 25 not 15!

He wanted you to take a baby out of a car seat while it was on the freeway? That is odd. As for the kid raising a kid comment, it may be that you are his daughter and he has trouble seeing you as an adult. I don't know.

That is crazy to take a baby out of its seat while the car is moving let alone going down the interstate. Gee whiz!! You did the right thing, he can just get over it. If he was that worried then he should have pulled off to the side. Parents never seem to see their children as adults.... Or at least treatthem that way sometimes.

You know you did the right thing. Maybe the sound of the baby coughing/crying whatever just upset him and he snapped at you.
