Mason has been saying all night that his ear hurts and he's been up every 20 minutes crying. This really sucks!! I think he may have a ear infection. So it looks like I will be up all night with him tonight. Poor little baby! I know how bad it feels to have hurting ears. I guess I will be calling his doctor in the morning!
I am wonderingif that has been Ella's problem this evening. She is setled now but now until she made sure I am wide awake. I NEED to order an otoscope so I don't have to bring her to the dr. everytime I suspect and ear infection......
awww my little buddy is sick!!!!??? great, gotta love this time of year! i hope it is only his ears and it doesnt turn into more for you with their asthema(sp?). i will be calling ya in a couple mins to see how he is doing!!!
My daughter had ear infections from around age 2-5. My Ped would treat them with amoxicillin, and whenever I would suggest tubes he would wave me off. I trusted him, and really waited longer than I should have - but after one memorable night in the ER I had had enough. She would be in so much pain - screaming pain - that it would kill me. I made an appt. with an Ear/Nose/Throat doc, and it took him all of 10 seconds to say that she was going in for tubes immediately. She already had scarring on her ear drums and if she didn't have tubes she'd eventually be hard of hearing. She got the tubes, the infections stopped completely and she never had another one. Ever. Her hearing is perfect today ( she's 16 ). Needless to say, I dropped the Ped ( a very popular one at that ) like a hot rock and never ever doubted my mother's intuition again.
