I think I'm ready to wean. I don't mind waiting until a year but I figure I should start now. She nurses on demand and so I have no idea how to just wean her off slowly. Any suggestions?

You could start by night weaning if she's still nursing at night or do the 'don't offer/don't refuse' method. Or you could follow her lead and see if she is ready to wean.

If you wean before a year what do you plan to replace the bm with?
