well Kyla isnt on a cup but she likes a straw cup.
at 1 year she suddenly refused all bottles and would only take a straw cup.
it was her desiscion so she coped perfectly.

There's lots of talk in my PR right now about switching to cup, and if I'm honest, it wasn't something that crossed my mind nor has I planned to do

My thinking on this was that by the time she stops having formula, she would be offered cow's milk in a cup... kinda like how I introduced bottles, like take one milk time per day and do 50/50 formula/cow's milk. And slowy do it like that, then all cow's milk.

I made her weetabix one morning last week and had about 1oz of formula left over from making it, so put it into her water cup thinking she could drink it after her weetabix - she wanted liquid... but not milk. It was very obvious that she was telling me "cup = water"

Olivia would never take a bottle of any kind once she was more than a few days old.

When she was about 6-7 months we introduced a sippy cup with water but it took her months to get the hang of it

It can take them a long time. I introduced a cup to Kirsty when she was around 4 or 5 months because she was having poop issues and I wanted to try and increase water intake. But she took such a long time to get it! She was EBF at the time so that may be the reason.
