Anyone ever used quinoa in their little ones food?
I noticed a lot of the Plum baby range use quinoa flakes in their recipes and thought perhaps I would try adding it to Evan's veggies to see if it helps fill him up a wee bit more but I have never cooked with it before so I don't know how difficult it is

We will get some this afternoon though and see how it goes!

thanks Fi!
couldn't get it though....holland and barret were sold out and Evan was grizzling so I didn't want to brave tesco! I definately want to try it though!

I have used those plum baby pouches twice now when I haven't had anything organised for Evan and he adores them so afterwards I have just whizzed up the same ingrediants that I have cooked myself and he's not complained. He loved the parsnip and spinach one but the pouch had added quinoa so thats where I got my thinking from

thats the ones! here is the link
Home - Plum Baby I have only used the pouches the twice I mentioned but I like the look of their range so have used some of their combos to make up Evan's meals myself

The quinoa was a hit, you cook it just like rice and only need a small amount but Evan seemed to enjoy it, it gave his meal a whole new texture and he coped with it really well
