Sunday Seven (days of the week!)

Do you have regular activities you do on certain days? Either with the kids or on your own?

For Kirsty & I, our groups & activities have slowed down a bit. But we still have:

Wednesday: Mother & Toddler group - Kirsty adores this!! It has really helped her work through her Separation Anxiety a little
Friday: Swimming - Again, Kirsty loves this activity. She;s beginning to get the motions of swimming, loves kicking her legs and is beginning to use her arms a little.

Other days I do try to get out for a walk at least every second day. I hate being cooped up in the house for too long!!

How about you?

Right now other than Sunday, we really don't. Still adjusting to life with a toddler and a newborn. Plus dh just started back to work this month after being laid off for 7 months so we're still getting used to establishing a new routine.

Hopefully I have that to come - DH back to work, I mean... we're verging on a year of unemployment for him Not easy.

How are you finding things with him out to work again? How is it being on your own with the kids?

It's been interesting. He's working 55-60 hours a week and is never home. DD is a huge daddy's girl and is having major issues with this. She is afraid to go to sleep at night because she knows daddy will be gone when she wakes up.

Also he's worked there for 5 weeks and they've only paid him for one week. They are three paychecks behind and continuously lie about when the paychecks will get here. So it's super stressful since we're obviously not getting the unemployment checks anymore either.

This job is temporary - so in another couple months he'll probably be unemployed again. Jobs are still scarce here.

I don't tend to have a very bust week .. Fridays is the busiest for me ... toddlers in the morning and then tend to have my brothers fiance or a mate come over in afternoon for coffee.
