I do read to him when I can get him to sit still. He's very active so it has to be short and sweet!

Right now he really likes this book I found at a thrift store. I forgot the name but its a "look and see" book for shapes. You read a little excerpt about the shape then pull the foam shape out of the book to reveal other things of that shape. Its very colorful and I let him pull the shapes.

That sounds like an awesome book! Kirsty is the same as Jacob, she is too mobile and active to sit for too long! She does LOVE books but I'd say she enjoys sitting looking at them by herself as much as she enjoys sitting with us to listen to the stories.

Her favourite books are the "That's not my..." books. Each page has a touchy-feely part.
