How long until your breasts "empty?" I last nursed almost 4 days ago. For the week prior to that, we were doing only one evening session. We had cut out the bedtime session and then the morning session

I'm pretty full, but it's not uncomfortable. It hasn't gone up or down in a couple days. Do I just wait it out?

My DS is 19 months.

I didn't breastfeed but I exclusively pumped for 7 months and then part-time pumped for an additional month. So not as long as you, but I did eventually go down to one pumping session then stopped. Just wait it out. Its good that the pressure hasn't gone up...it will get better, but it might just take time. Also, when you take a shower, don't stand under the warm water for too long. Have it hit your back most of the time, because the warm water can stimulate let-down.

5 days later I was so full I had to pump......but after that it seems to have completely gone. So here we are 2 weeks later! He is a bit crankier than before. Especially getting up in the morning. He seems to realize he's missing something, but not quite sure what. This morning we were laying in bed and he went to pull up my shirt so I got worried, but he was just looking for my belly button!
