I'm in the same boat right now. My dd is 17 months, and was only nursing a tiny bit when I decided to wean her. It's been 11 days now since the last time she nursed, and I'm still too sore to give hugs! I've even noticed drops of milk leaking as recently as 2 days ago. So yes, I'm not engorged either, but still very very sore. I think I may have figured out part of the problem though: my bra! Right after weaning, I put on my old bigger nursing bra, until the engorgement went down, then went back to my regular one. I think it's still putting pressure on me more than it should, so yesterday I went back to the bigger bra. It was instantly a relief! Still very sore, but hoping this helps me in another day or 2. If you are bulging out of your bra at all, go up a size. That and cold packs, never heat. Heat will actually stimulate more milk production. Cold cabbage leaves in your bra help too, and are a natural milk suppressant. Sorry this is so long, but hope some of it helps you. P.S. We're not trying for another yet, but there's a possibility I could be prego, as my AF is 4 days late. I've wondered about this being an early sign, too. Guess I'll know within the next week! Let me know how you're feeling soon!
