Today's dare is about making something for your kids. You've made artwork with them. You've made time for them. And now this one is about what goes in their tummies! I don't care what you make for them, their favorite dinner, something special for lunch, or maybe you make cookies with them!

You have to make something for them, and it has to be special somehow. Maybe you never give them the unhealthy stuff from the freezer that you just pop in their microwave, but they love it, well you can make them just that. Maybe that's what you do for lunch all too often, maybe today you can actually cook something simple. Maybe dessert is few and far between in your house, but today you can make some cupcakes.

Here's a link to some recipes for kids if you need some help coming up with something:

We made cookies today too!!! Just for Nicolas and Landon! Nic loves making them and watching them cook through the oven door! And the best part was eating them. I even caved and let him have one BEFORE dinner. Oh well one night won't hurt!

Kaija got her favorite for breakfast AND lunch today - Peanut butter toast/sandwich!! I always forget how much she loves it and how easy it is. I really need to remember that.

I did this today at breakfast. All I did was make cinnamon toast, but the kids helped make it and enjoyed making it. Normally I just like give them cereal or something with 0 prep, so it was still special.
