In the 13th dare you will be teaching your child something. Everybody knows something they can teach their child. If your child is very young you may have a harder time seeing you actually taught them anything, but if your child is older I guarantee you can find something to teach them.
Maybe you teach them something very simple like how to make a paper airplane. Maybe you teach them a skill they need, like how to spell their name. But everybody has something to offer. Often our children teach us things, but we need to teach them back!
So do a teacher a favor, and teach your kid something!
We've started working on shapes. I'm constantly amazed by what Kaija knows!! She already knew half of them!
I never push her to learn anything. I don't feel like 2-year-olds need to know their alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes, etc. But it does give us something else to talk about during the day and she enjoys learning.
